Amanda Brookfield is a highly experienced Head of Sixth Form, Director of Careers and Higher Education, UCAS Referee and Sixth Form Tutor, having worked at leading HMC co-educational schools for more than twenty years.  She regularly supports students with applications to competitive universities and courses in the UK, at undergraduate and post-graduate levels. She also has expertise in supporting applicants to universities in Europe, US and Canada. She can offer guidance with application strategy and help applicants to craft cogent Personal Statements/ Common App Essays/ similar. With a Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development, through the Open University, she is also able to help students research and plan possible career paths.

David

David provides expert, personalised career and education guidance designed to help further-education students make confident, well-informed decisions about university, degree apprenticeships, and their future careers. An experienced mentor, with valuable real-world industry, business and education experience, David has multi-decade experience to support young people at a critical transition point – helping them identify their strengths, interests and long-term aspirations while standing out in an increasingly competitive and AI-driven job market. Students receive practical, structured support with CVs, applications and interview preparation, alongside honest advice on course and role suitability to avoid costly missteps or unnecessary course changes later on. Delivered flexibly via in-person or online sessions, David offers ongoing guidance, access to professional networks, and support with university decisions and salary negotiations – giving parents confidence that their child is not just choosing a next step, but building a resilient, adaptable career foundation for the years ahead.
